ABOUT ME

In 2003, I looked on a notice board at Berry Springs and saw a little add for Yoga. I thought, I should probably try something new, move my body and heck I needed to stop being such a worrier. Over a decade has past since that serendipitous, curious moment and here I am. STILL practicing Yoga, more so OFF THE MAT than simply on my MAT.

yoga has reminded me that i have infinite capacity to grow. That i can, at any moment, change my energy and my perspective. And that i have the potential to shine light.

OH HEY

I’m mid

I had no idea the profound effect Yoga would have on me, nor the journey that it would take me on along the way. Through death, joy, tears, grief, love, smiles and sadness, I’ve grown and tumbled back down again in more ways I can explain, and the one constant? YOGA.

I grew up with nature loving parents, who took me everywhere birdwatching/camping/waterskiiing/travelling. I grew up surrounded by food/books and animals and went onto to become a Zookeeper and animal trainer for 12 years, a park ranger after that and then after suffering severe Autoimmune issues, changed paths and followed my dream to become a yoga teacher to help others.

I love CHAI, chocolate, visiting my fav cafes, travelling, reading books, cooking and dancing to music, laying in the sunshine. I also love water-skiing, birds, dogs and my husband.

My purpose is to give you capacity to presence life.

To be able to increase your capacity to sense what’s happening inside and outside of your body, so that you can rebuild and remember an elastic nervous system, a strong body, a focused mind, that can LIVE life fully.

I’ve lived with several autoimmune diseases for years, with Anxiety & Panic Attacks, gut issues and hormone issues and I STRIVE to pass on what I’ve learned through a yogic lens to you.

  • 350 HR Yoga Diploma from Victorian Insitute of Yoga Education and Teacher Training. (over 1 year of study completed 2014)

  • 500 HR Yoga Medicine Therapeutic Specialist ( Continuing Education) with Tiffany Cruikshank ( TCM Dr and Acupuinturist) her focus is on combining modern approach of the body, including fascia/pain science/neuroscience with more eastern approach of TCM)

  • 100 HR Advanced Pranayama Teacher Training with Uma Spender ( Intensive training of combination of mantra/mudra/goddess work AND science based Nervous system & modern approach )
